Junior .Net Engineer

As a Junior .Net Engineer at our company, you will be a key member of our cross-functional, distributed team responsible for building and maintaining core backend functionalities that power our customers. Your role will involve implementing features/modules, developing and maintaining microservices using C# and .NET Core, supporting testing & deployment activities, creating and maintaining RESTful APIs, analyzing and fixing defects, and utilizing version control systems like Git. Here's what you'll be doing: - Implement feature/module as per design and requirements using coding best practices - Develop and maintain microservices using C# and .NET Core - Perform unit testing as per code coverage benchmark - Support testing & deployment activities - Create and maintain RESTful APIs - Analyze and fix defects to develop high standard stable codes - Utilize version control systems like Git - Participate in requirement analysis and estimation activities - Write clean and maintainable code using best practices - Investigate and debug defects, finding root causes and fixing them - Provide prompt response during production support The expertise you'll bring to the role includes proficiency in: - C# language - Visual Studio Professional and Visual Studio Code - .NET Core 3.1 onwards - Entity Framework with code-first approach - Dependency Injection - Error Handling and Logging - SDLC - Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) Principles - SOLID Principles - Clean Coding Principles - Design patterns - API and Rest API with token-based Authentication & Authorization - Postman and Swagger - Relational Databases like SQL Server/MySQL/PostgreSQL - Stored Procedures and Functions - Database Relationships, Data Normalization & Denormalization, Indexes, and Performance Optimization techniques Preferred skills include exposure to Cloud platforms like Azure/GCP/AWS, Code Quality tools like Sonar, CICD processes and tools like Jenkins, understanding of docker and Kubernetes, and Agile software development methodologies.
