Junior Interior Designer

As we are currently expanding, we are looking for a passionate and detail oriented junior interior designer for our interior design and architecture studio. We primarily focus on residential projects, so we are seeking someone who has a strong knowledge of current residential design trends and good software proficiency. The role allows to equip you with hands on experience with real world projects, enhance your design skills and improve your knowledge of material selection, vendor coordination, client presentation, on-site execution handling.

Key Responsibilities & Proficiencies Required:

· Assist in conceptual/schematic design, detailed design and presentation.

· Produce 2D drawings, 3D models, renderings, mood boards, BOQ, using tools such as AutoCAD, SketchUP, Vray, Lumion, Adobe Photoshop, MS Office etc.

· Coordinate with vendors, contractors, consultants and site supervisors during site visits for smooth execution of design.

· Assist during material selections such as laminates, paint/surface finishes, furniture’s, wallpapers, electrical/plumbing fixtures, ply boards etc under the guidance of principal designer

· Support daily administrative tasks like scheduling meetings, tracking project timelines, project follow ups, maintain project documentation etc.

· Basic understanding of colour theory, spatial planning, material & furnishings knowledge, standards codes of measurements is preferable.
