Junior Graphic Designer

As a Junior Visual Designer with 12 years of experience, you will be based in Panaji, Goa, working onsite in a full-time capacity. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with senior creatives on digital and print projects, contributing your creative skills in a feedback-driven environment. This role is ideal for designers at the beginning of their careers who are passionate about brand storytelling and eager to enhance their skills. Your daily tasks will include creating visual assets for digital platforms such as social media, web, and emailers, as well as for print materials like brochures, presentations, and marketing collateral. You will work closely with the design and marketing teams to ensure brand consistency across all touchpoints. Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing design files for production and exporting them in the required formats. Your participation in brainstorming sessions, regular design critiques, and adapting creative for different formats and channels will be essential. To excel in this role, you must demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. A keen eye for layout, typography, and color is crucial, along with the ability to adhere to brand guidelines while adding creative value. Basic knowledge of preparing designs for both print and digital outputs is required, and you must showcase your relevant work in a portfolio that includes both digital and print projects. Applications without a portfolio will not be considered. While not mandatory, it would be advantageous to have experience with Figma or other UI/UX tools, basic motion graphics or video editing skills, and a good understanding of social media trends and content formats. As a candidate, you should have a total of 12 years of professional design experience, including internships. You should be eager to learn, open to feedback, and committed to refining your skills. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment is essential. While you should be collaborative and enjoy teamwork, you should also be capable of handling small projects independently.
