About the Role:

Junior Front-End Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain interactive UI components for a browser-based video editor using

  React.js

  and the

  Canvas API

  .
• Implement features like

  timeline editing

  ,

  clip trimming

  ,

  drag-and-drop support

  ,

  filters/transitions

  , and

  multi-track editing

  .
• Work with rendering frameworks such as

  Fabric.js

  ,

  Three.js

  , or

  WebGL

  for visual manipulation.
• Integrate browser-based video/audio processing tools such as

  FFmpeg (via WebAssembly)

  and

  MediaRecorder API

  .
• Develop features for

  audio waveform editing

  and

  frame-by-frame control

  .
• Collaborate with the design and backend teams to create smooth, performant user experiences.
• Maintain a clean, reusable, and well-documented codebase.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 6 months to 2 years of experience in front-end development.
• Strong command of

  JavaScript (ES6+)

  ,

  React.js

  ,

  HTML5

  , and

  CSS3

  .
• Experience working with

  Canvas API

  ,

  Fabric.js

  , or similar libraries.
• Understanding of browser APIs such as

  MediaRecorder

  ,

  WebCodecs

  , and

  WebAssembly

  .
• Familiarity with

  video processing in the browser

  using

  FFmpeg.wasm

  or similar.
• Ability to implement responsive, pixel-perfect UI with interactive elements.
• Experience using Git for version control.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to

  Three.js

  for video or 3D rendering in the browser.
• Knowledge of

  audio/video sync

  , multi-track timelines, or frame management.
• Experience with

  Lottie animations

  in conjunction with video layers.
• Familiarity with

  SaaS video editing tools

  like Canva, Clipchamp, or InVideo.
• Basic understanding of performance tuning for real-time rendering in the browser.
