Ability to create original designs, interpret trends, and develop styles.
Knowledge of fashion forecasting, trend analysis, and market research.
Understanding of garment fit, proportion, and balance.
Ability to work with different fabrics, textures, and colors.
Interpret client briefs, understand their requirements, and design garments that meet their needs.
Select fabrics, trims, and embellishments that meet design requirements and client specifications.
Proficiency in CAD software.
Knowledge of design software.
Familiarity with garment construction, pattern making, and grading.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in fashion design, preferably in an export house or a similar industry.
