We are currently seeking a highly motivated Junior Facade Engineer to join our team in response to the expansion of our business and project portfolio. As a member of the Buildings team, this role involves a wide array of responsibilities related to new facade projects. The Junior Facade Engineer will support team leaders in design, project management, and consulting services within facade projects, aiming to enrich the team's skill set and knowledge base. Key responsibilities include: - Contributing to engineering design and drafting activities for facade projects, ensuring adherence to quality standards. - Working autonomously under minimal guidance with a high level of accountability. - Overseeing the performance, work, and development of team members by providing guidance, training, and feedback. - Staying informed about industry trends and advancements. - Engaging in Continuing Professional Development. - Coordinating with technical specialists within the Faade Group. - Managing facade documentation such as calculations, certification, drawings, and specifications. - Efficiently handling project timelines, quality, and performance. The ideal candidate will possess: - A minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering design and drafting specifically related to facades. - Knowledge of how engineering design impacts facade system design concerning waterproofing, air tightness, and architectural requirements. - The ability and confidence to independently execute project drawings.
