Job Title: Junior Executive – Field (Commercial Chrysanthemum Cultivation)

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Junior Executive – Field to manage and support operations in commercial green house chrysanthemum cultivation. The ideal candidate will be an Agriculture or Horticulture graduate with hands-on interest in floriculture, especially chrysanthemum farming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Crop Production:
• Oversee daily cultivation activities of chrysanthemums from planting to harvest.
• Ensure healthy crop growth using best agronomic practices.
• Monitor and maintain quality standards specific to commercial chrysanthemum production.
• Pest, Disease & Nutrition Management:
• Identify pests, diseases, and nutritional deficiencies.
• Recommend and implement suitable crop protection and nutrition strategies.
• Ensure timely and precise application of pesticides, fungicides, and fertilizers.
• Irrigation & Infrastructure:
• Manage drip irrigation systems and moisture levels according to crop needs.
• Maintain net houses, polyhouses, or open-field setups used for chrysanthemum farming.
• Labour & Resource Management:
• Supervise farm labor during planting, pruning, pinching, disbudding, and harvesting.
• Ensure efficient use of farm inputs like fertilizers, water, and electricity.
• Harvest & Post-Harvest Handling:
• Schedule harvests at optimal stages for commercial sale.
• Supervise grading, bundling, and packing of flowers for transport.
• Minimize post-harvest loss and ensure product quality during dispatch.
• Documentation & Compliance:
• Maintain field records related to crop schedules, input use, and yield tracking.
• Ensure operations comply with local agricultural and environmental regulations.
• Other Duties:
• Coordinate with the farm manager and other departments for planning and reporting.
• Execute any additional assignments as directed by management.

Requirements:

• B.Sc. in Agriculture or Horticulture.
• Interest or experience in floriculture, especially chrysanthemum.
• Familiarity with plant growth stages, Nursery and flower quality parameters.
• Strong observation skills and ability to work independently in field conditions.
• Basic knowledge of farm machinery and irrigation systems.
• Good communication and team coordination abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹35,052.33 per month
