Role & responsibilities Assist in preparing purchase orders and tracking materials as per project requirements. Identify and coordinate with suppliers for civil and construction materials. Collect and compare vendor quotations and negotiate basic terms under guidance. Support in maintaining material inventory records and documentation. Liaise with project teams to understand material needs and timelines. Ensure timely delivery of materials to sites in coordination with logistics. Follow up on pending orders and coordinate for any issues in delivery. Maintain and update vendor database and assist in vendor evaluation. Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards. Preferred candidate profile Good knowledge of basic civil materials (cement, steel, aggregates, etc.). Strong communication and coordination skills. Basic understanding of construction processes. Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).
