Junior Engineer / Engineer - CAD

Key Responsibilities: - Proficiently use CAD software to define CAD models in 3D or 2D based on design specifications or CAD elements provided by PTM RD/Design Leaders/Design Engineers. - Develop 3D models that adhere to mould/plastics constraints, clash/clearance with other components, or mechanical constraints. - Create 2D drawings with consistency in drawing rules, layout, and functional tolerances. - Take responsibility for the 2D/3D definition of your own component or part of a component, ensuring adherence to Branch CAD methodology rules, CAD models quality, CAD quality tools, checklists, and auto control. - Define small technical aspects (e.g., Clip, locating) or local area design elements (e.g., Standard integration, strengthen ribs, harness). - Follow and promote quality procedures. - Validate and monitor all CAD data related to your project within VLS Branch PDM/PLM systems. - Ensure lead-time/cost efficiency and timing follow-up of tasks by meeting project milestones and deadlines. - Manage CAD tasks, including potentially overseeing CAD operators and monitoring CAD operations. - Plan, define, and control CAD Work Orders tasks as necessary. Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in Automotive, Exterior Lighting, Headlamp, Rear lamp design - Experience in Application of Plastics, Plastics - Mould / Tooling - Strong background in Product Design, Product Engineering, and CATIA V5 software - Familiarity with CAS - Computer Aided Styling for Headlamps and Rear lamps - Ability to contribute to design innovations in lighting and signalling, with a focus on transversal inputs - Participation in style branch network and Benchmarking activities Join Us: By joining Valeo, you will become part of a dynamic team within one of the largest global innovative companies, with over 20,000 engineers dedicated to Research & Development.
