Skills & Competencies
Core / Required Skills:
- 2-3 years of hands-on experience working in ECM/document management domain (deployment, configuration or support).
- Strong understanding of content management concepts: document lifecycle, versioning, workflows, retention/archival, metadata, search & retrieval.
- Basic integration awareness: linking ECM systems with other enterprise platforms (ERP, finance systems, etc.).
- Good analytical skills – ability to understand business processes, map to system workflows, propose solutions.
- Solid communication skills in English (both verbal & written) – able to interface with business users, document requirements and deliver user training.
- Team player, flexible, willing to adapt to changing requirements, able to work in hybrid/office environment.
Desirable Skills / Nice to Have:
- Exposure to one or more mainstream ECM platforms (for example: OpenText Content Server, Microsoft SharePoint, EMC Documentum) or similar systems.
- Basic understanding of ERP/finance/controlling systems (since hybrid role may involve ECM linked to business systems)
- Experience in user support or help-desk environment for ECM/document systems
- Awareness of data governance, records management, compliance/retention policies
- Ability to assist in configuration rather than purely support – some interest or willingness to develop build/config skills
