Role Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Corporate Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team at Xerago. This role is crucial in supporting our corporate legal operations and ensuring that our legal documents and processes are managed effectively. You will gain valuable exposure to various aspects of corporate business law while working closely with experienced legal professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and review of corporate documents, including contracts, agreements, and managing them.
• Maintain and organize legal files and documentation to ensure compliance with corporate governance standards.
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support ongoing corporate matters.
• Coordinate communication between internal teams and external legal counsel.
• Support the legal team in the management of corporate records and the filing of necessary documents.
• Support contract negotiations by drafting and revising agreements under the guidance of legal head.

Required and Preferred Qualification

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Commerce or Law
• 2+ years of experience in a corporate legal environment or law firm
• Proficiency in legal research tools and document management software
• Experience with contract law and corporate transactions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal management software
• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Proactive and collaborative mind set, with a focus on teamwork and problem-solving
