Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Consultant - OBG based in Bangalore. The Junior Consultant will provide medical support in gynecology and obstetrics, including routine and advanced diagnostics, prenatal care, and performing deliveries where required. Responsibilities include collaborating with the healthcare team to develop personalized care plans for patients, monitoring pregnancies, addressing complex gynecological issues, and ensuring compliance with clinical safety standards. Active participation in patient consultations and offering guidance on health concerns will also be part of this role.

Qualifications

• Clinical proficiency in gynecology and obstetrics, including prenatal care, labor monitoring, and surgical intervention
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills for assessing complex gynecological and reproductive health cases
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster trust and provide patient education with sensitivity
• Capable of working collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Valid medical degree (MBBS) and MS specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Registration within the relevant medical council - KMC
• Prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
