Junior Consultant

As a Registrar in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at our hospital in Indore, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - NICU: - Looking after all babies admitted to NICU - Attending daily rounds and following the Plan for the day - Preparing admission and discharge summaries - Ensuring clear documentation and communication - Performing procedures in NICU under supervision/independently - Attending Deliveries: - Attending all in-house deliveries under the supervision of a rostered consultant - Admitting all babies for brief supervision and observation - Completing all necessary documentations - Post-Natal Ward: - Reviewing all high-risk babies and following the treatment plan - Conducting baby examinations and maintaining documentation - Administering vaccines - Participating in newborn screening and supervision - Conducting discharge examinations, documenting findings, and creating follow-up plans after discussions with consultants - Out Of Hours: - Discussing treatment plans with the consultant on call and following through - Attending all outpatient calls as well as emergencies - Inpatient Pediatric Admission: - Conducting examinations, checking, prescribing, and managing pediatric inpatient admissions after discussions with the Incharge Consultant - Documenting daily progress and discharge processes - Performing procedures if required, including IV Cannulation Qualifications Required: - MBBS with MD/ DNB/ DCH (Fellowship - Neonatal) Experience: - 0-4 years Please note that this is a full-time position in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at our hospital located in Indore.
