Junior Civil Design Engineer

As a Civil Engineer specializing in water treatment plant design, your primary responsibility will be to develop civil design and drawings for various water treatment plants such as ETP, STP, WTP, RO, etc. This will involve preparing GA drawings, foundation layouts, equipment supports, and piping layouts specific to the treatment plant. It is crucial to ensure that all designs meet structural and hydraulic requirements, adhere to industry standards, and align with project specifications. Collaboration with process, mechanical, and electrical teams is essential to achieve seamless integration of all components within the treatment plant. You will be expected to provide detailed BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and material specifications for the civil elements of the project. Additionally, reviewing and adjusting designs based on client feedback and on-site conditions will be part of your regular tasks. Supporting project teams by offering technical documentation and reports is crucial to the success of the project. You will also play a key role in the design approval processes and act as a liaison with clients to address any design-related queries or clarifications. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering and possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in water treatment plant civil design. Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or other relevant civil design software is necessary. A strong understanding of foundation design, structural calculations, and hydraulic flow considerations is essential. Familiarity with IS codes, BS, or ACI standards related to water treatment structures will be advantageous. Moreover, excellent coordination and communication skills are vital for effective collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.,
