Junior Backend Developer

As a Junior Backend Developer at Lumel, you will be an integral part of our engineering team, dedicated to building core backend components and services that drive our Business Intelligence products. Our company, headquartered in Plano, Texas, and with a development center in Chennai, is committed to crafting intuitive, scalable, and high-performance software solutions. In this role, you will have the opportunity to design, develop, test, and maintain backend services using Go and Node.js. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, debugging and resolving issues in various environments, participating in code reviews, and staying updated with new technologies and best practices. We are seeking candidates with 2-4 years of backend development experience, hands-on proficiency in Node.js and Go, a strong grasp of RESTful API design, data structures, and algorithms, familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases, and excellent problem-solving abilities. While prior Go experience is not mandatory, a willingness to learn and work extensively with Go is essential for Node.js experienced individuals.
