Junior Architect

Job Summary

The AEC Associates is seeking motivated individuals to join our organization who possess strong CAD and Revit skills. Junior Architects should have 1-3 years of experience in architectural and/or interior designing/ engineering services, primarily responsible for the production of construction documents and participate in the final QA/QC process on international projects.

Essential Duties/ Role and Responsibilities

Drawing Production:

• Primarily responsible for production of building project drawings during all design and construction phases including as-Builts, Schematic Design, Design Development, Construction Documentation Sets and others meeting Project owner's expectations (Internal and external).
• Provide/ Report the hours spent on the assigned project tasks using the prescribed tools and methods.

Quality Assurance

• Able to follow company's internal SoPs, client specific CAD/ BIM templates and implement Quality Checking of as-built drawings, architectural/ interior design and construction documents.

Team Working:

• Working in conjunction with Intermediate/ Senior Intermediate Architects/ Interior Designers/ Engineers and Intermediate Architects/ Interior Designers/ Engineers as per the reporting protocols.
• Self-management of assigned tasks for efficient, error-free, and timely deliveries.

Expertise:

• Basic knowledge of Building Construction systems and standards.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Basic understanding of AutoCAD and Revit.
• Architectural/ Interior Design/ Engineering design documentation background preferred with basic knowledge of general design documentation standards, practices and procedures.
• Basic understanding of the architectural/ interior design/ engineering design processes both in the office and on site.
• Ability to execute a given set of processes and procedures right the first time to prevent performance, availability and productivity losses.
• Good written and spoken English is required.

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture is mandatory

  with a minimum 1-3 years of experience in the AEC industry with matching work experience.
• Experience in design and documentation of Architectural/ Interior Design/ Engineering projects - New construction and renovation.

Note: Only candidates with a B.Arch degree and outsourcing firm experience are eligible
