Job Title: Junior Architect Location: Chennai Position Type: Full-Time Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and motivated Interior Designer / Junior Architect with a strong foundation in architecture or interior design. This entry-level role is ideal for fresh graduates or those with up to 1 year of experience. The candidate should have a passion for design, attention to detail, and the ability to transform conceptual ideas into functional spaces. Key Responsibilities: Design Concept Development: Assist in creating design concepts, collaborate with senior designers, and produce preliminary sketches, mood boards, and layouts. 2D & 3D Design Work: Prepare architectural and interior design drawings using tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Revit. Material & Product Selection: Research and recommend materials, finishes, and furniture. Client Interaction & Presentation: Assist in client presentations, showcasing design ideas and material choices. Collaboration & Project Coordination: Work with architects and designers to ensure design integration and coordinate with contractors and suppliers. Site Visits & Project Support: Visit sites for measurements, track timelines, and assist in project administration. Learning & Development: Stay updated on trends, attend workshops, and continuously improve design skills. Required Qualifications & Skills: Education: Bachelors degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field. Experience: Freshers or up to 1 year of experience. Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite. Basic understanding of architectural drawings and construction documentation.
