Job Title: Accounts Executive – Billing
Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹17,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Accounts Executive – Billing to manage all billing-related activities in our accounting department. The ideal candidate will be solely in charge of preparing, issuing and tracking invoices, ensuring timely and accurate billing to clients or customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and issue accurate invoices to clients/customers as per company policies.
• Maintain billing records and update them regularly.
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations) to verify billing data.
• Track pending payments and send reminders to clients for overdue bills.
• Respond to client queries related to billing or invoices.
• Reconcile billing records with payments received.
• Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations (e.g., GST).
• Assist with month-end and year-end financial closings related to billing.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all financial data.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and billing/accounting software (e.g., Tally – as applicable).
• Good understanding of basic accounting and billing procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Good communication skills, especially in handling client billing queries.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Mandatory):

• Prior experience in a billing/accounts role.
• Knowledge of GST and other local tax regulations.
