Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant at Hotel Vivek, your role is crucial in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance team. Your responsibilities will include: - Assisting in maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers. - Helping with bank reconciliation and validation of financial transactions. - Organizing and maintaining accounting documents in physical and digital formats. - Ensuring proper filing of bills, statements, and supporting documents. - Assisting in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports. - Supporting senior accountants in audits, tax filings, and compliance tasks. - Handling basic MIS reporting as instructed. - Ensuring adherence to company policies and accounting standards. - Maintaining confidentiality of financial information. - Checking entries for accuracy and highlighting discrepancies. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or related field. - Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail. - Basic knowledge of accounting principles (Tally/Excel preferred). - Good communication and organizational skills. - Ability to learn quickly and work in a team environment.
