Junior Accountant

As a Junior Accountant at Rio Luxury Homes Private Limited located in Assagao-North Goa, you will be responsible for managing accounts related to society maintenance and housing projects. Your primary tasks will include preparing maintenance invoices, recording daily accounting entries in Tally Prime, following up with residents for pending dues, handling bank reconciliation, and maintaining records of society-related expenses such as repairs, utilities, and services. Additionally, you will assist in the preparation of monthly/annual maintenance statements and ensure compliance with statutory requirements including GST and TDS. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare and issue maintenance invoices to residents. - Record daily accounting entries in Tally Prime. - Follow up with residents for pending dues. - Handle bank reconciliation, cash/ledger accounts. - Maintain records of society-related expenses (repairs, utilities, services). - Assist in preparation of monthly/annual maintenance statements. - Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (GST, TDS where applicable). Qualifications Required: - Bachelors degree in Commerce or related field. - Hands-on experience in Tally Prime is mandatory. - Knowledge of maintenance accounting for societies will be an added advantage. - Basic knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance. - Strong attention to detail and accuracy. - 12 years of experience preferred.
