Job Description

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Junior Accountant (Advanced Level) with strong experience in accounting operations and statutory compliance. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience in return filing, financial reporting, and day-to-day accounting functions within a manufacturing setup. The candidate should be capable of independently managing books of accounts while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission of statutory returns.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

- Manage day-to-day accounting operations including entries, reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.

- Handle accounts payable/receivable, vendor reconciliations, and customer billing.

- Maintain stock records, production-related accounts, and consumption reports specific to the manufacturing industry.

- Prepare monthly MIS reports, cash flow statements, and financial summaries.

2. Statutory Compliance & Return Filing

- Independently manage GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, annual returns).

- Handle TDS calculation & return filing (24Q/26Q).

- Assist in Income Taxrelated documentation and audit support.

- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations applicable to manufacturing units.

3. Audits & Financial Controls

- Coordinate with internal and external auditors.

- Assist in preparation of audit schedules and financial statements.

- Implement internal control systems and ensure documentation accuracy.

4. Manufacturing Accounting

- Manage costing-related entries and support the costing team.

- Track WIP, raw material consumption, and production variance.

- Handle job work accounting, scrap management, and production reconciliation.

5. Documentation & Reporting

- Maintain and update financial documentation and records.

- Prepare management reports, vendor/party ledgers, and expense analysis.

- Ensure timely reporting and support management in financial planning.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and return filing.

- Proficiency in Tally ERP / Tally Prime, MS Excel, and accounting systems.

- Understanding of manufacturing accounting, stock management, and costing.

- Strong analytical and numerical skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

- Ability to handle responsibilities independently with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or Master’s Degree (M.Com preferred).

4–8 years of experience in accounting within a manufacturing company (mandatory).

Salary max- 35,000/-pm gross

Office timings:- 10:30am to 7:30pm . 6 days working
