Job Description

Job Summary:

Maintain accurate books of accounts including ledgers, journals, and vouchers
Record day-to-day financial transactions accurately
Support preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

Accounts Payable & Receivable

Process invoices, payments, and receipts in a timely manner
Reconcile vendor and customer accounts
Assist in managing cash flow and petty cash

Banking & Reconciliation

Reconcile bank statements and track banking transactions
Assist in resolving discrepancies in accounts

Compliance & Reporting

Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements
Assist with GST, TDS, and other statutory filings as needed
Provide support during audits

Support & Coordination

Work closely with Senior Accountant/Finance Manager for month-end and year-end closing
Support payroll processing and other financial operations as required
Maintain organized financial records for easy retrieval

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce
3 years of accounting experience
Knowledge of accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, or similar) and MS Office
Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and other statutory regulations
Attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
Good communication skills
