Full Job Description:

We are hiring Junior Accountants / Bookkeepers to support our Australian-based clients with day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and administrative tasks. This role involves working during Australian business hours, and requires excellent English communication skills, as you'll be interacting directly with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform data entry for invoices, bills, bank statements, and payroll
• Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
• Maintain client accounts using accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks – training can be provided)
• Assist in preparation of financial reports and BAS statements
• Communicate with Australian clients via email and calls
• Collaborate with internal team to ensure deadlines are met
• Maintain accuracy and confidentiality in all accounting records

Requirements:

• Experience: 1 to 3 years in Accounting / Bookkeeping
• Freshers with strong knowledge and confidence in communication are encouraged to apply
• English fluency is a must – verbal and written (to work with Australian clients)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and software
• Ability to work independently in early morning hours
• A degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field is preferred

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Australian accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)
• Prior remote work experience with international clients
• Attention to detail and time management
