Jr Quality Control Engineer

As a Junior QC Engineer in the Quality Control department of an Interior Design/Manufacturing company in Bhiwandi, your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all interior design products, materials, and site installations meet company quality standards and client specifications. This role will involve regular inspections, testing, and documentation to maintain high-quality outputs in design, manufacturing, and project execution. Key Responsibilities: - Assist in developing and implementing quality control processes for interior design projects. - Conduct inspections of raw materials, in-process production, and final products to ensure compliance with quality standards. - Verify measurements, finishes, and material quality as per project drawings and specifications. - Monitor on-site installations and ensure workmanship meets quality requirements. - Report and document any defects, deviations, or non-conformities, and follow up on corrective actions. - Support in preparing and maintaining quality checklists, inspection reports, and compliance records. - Coordinate with the design, production, and site teams to resolve quality-related issues. - Assist in vendor audits and material approvals. - Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards during inspections. Key Skills & Competencies: - Knowledge of interior design materials, furniture, and finishing standards. - Understanding of quality control tools and techniques. - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. - Basic knowledge of AutoCAD/drawings interpretation. - Good communication and reporting skills. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Qualifications & Experience: - Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Mechanical, Interior Design, or related field. - 02 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably in Interior Design/Furniture/Manufacturing industry. - Freshers with strong academic knowledge and internship experience may also apply.
