Jr. QA Engineer

As a Test Engineer, your role involves writing and executing test cases for mobile, web, and API applications. You will be responsible for performing functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing. It is important to log defects with clear steps, screenshots, or videos, and verify bug fixes while retesting impacted areas. Additionally, you will participate in daily stand-ups and sprint reviews, and support automation tasks if trained. Key Responsibilities: - Write and execute test cases for mobile, web, and API applications - Perform functional, regression, usability, and exploratory testing - Log defects with clear steps, screenshots, or videos - Verify bug fixes and retest impacted areas - Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint reviews - Support automation tasks (if trained) Qualifications Required: - Certification in Manual Testing or Automation Testing - Strong understanding of STLC, SDLC, and defect lifecycle - Good analytical and documentation skills - Basic knowledge of automation tools (Selenium/Appium) is a plus - Good communication and attention to detail The company may also require familiarity with tools like Postman, JMeter, or any automation framework, and knowledge of version control systems like Git would be a nice-to-have skill for this role.
