Jr. QA Engineer

Role Overview: As a Jr. QA Engineer at Zysk Tech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of web and mobile applications. You will be involved in diverse projects utilizing open-source frameworks like Nest.js, Python Django, PHP Laravel, React.js, and Vue.js. Key Responsibilities: - Review and analyze system specifications, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and develop effective test strategies and plans. - Execute manual test cases, analyze results, identify, log, and track bugs and errors. - Evaluate product code according to specifications and ensure adherence to quality standards. - Work closely with developers, providing feedback and recommendations for improvements. - Create and maintain clear, concise test documentation, including test plans, cases, and scripts. - Conduct various types of testing, including functional, integration, system, regression, and usability testing. - Utilize testing tools such as Jira, TestRail, Selenium, Postman, and BrowserStack. - Perform API testing, cross-browser testing, and cross-platform testing on web and mobile applications. - Monitor and report on test execution progress and defect status, providing updates to project stakeholders. - Stay updated with new testing tools, methodologies, and industry best practices. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 1-3 years of proven experience as a QA Engineer focusing on manual testing of web and mobile applications. - Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes. - Hands-on experience with test case management tools and defect tracking systems like Jira and TestRail. - Solid experience in API testing, cross-browser testing, and cross-platform testing. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development processes. - Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Passion for quality and commitment to continuous improvement.
