Jr. Purchase Engineer

As a Jr. Purchase Engineer at Altis Industries located in Indore, M.P., your primary responsibility will be to evaluate quotations and secure the best terms on price, delivery, and quality. You will need to coordinate and follow up on inter and intra-departmental levels to ensure seamless communication. Your tasks will include documentation, MIS updation, and SAP-related activities such as preparing and maintaining purchase orders, quotation comparisons, GRPO, and handling import/export documentation as required. It will be essential for you to incorporate product quality specifications into purchases to maintain high-quality standards. You will also be responsible for material inspection and documentation by creating quality sheets for material checking, arranging way bills from the A/C Department, and mailing the same to vendors. Additionally, you will manage the rejected material return process by completing formalities such as letters, and follow up with transport agencies/suppliers for timely material delivery. To be successful in this role, you must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering and possess 0-2 years of relevant work experience. Strong analytical and communication skills are required, along with the ability to understand and resolve technical issues. You should be adept at multitasking with a problem-solving attitude to handle the various responsibilities efficiently.
