The Junior Microbiologist will perform microbial testing on raw materials, finished products, environmental monitoring and water testing to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. This role involves supporting shelf-life studies and documentation to maintain product quality and safety. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of microbiological techniques relevant to the food industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct microbiological testing of raw materials, finished goods and water samples.
• Perform environmental monitoring and ensure hygiene standards are maintained in production areas.
• Support the team in shelf-life studies by monitoring microbiological quality over specified time periods.
• Document and report test results accurately, adhering to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring all tools are calibrated and in good working condition.
• Follow Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and all safety protocols to minimize contamination risks.
• Assist in investigating and resolving any microbial-related quality issues, proposing corrective actions where needed.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control and Production teams to ensure compliance with food safety regulations.

Candidate Requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology, Food Science, or a related field.
• Attention to detail and proficiency in laboratory documentation.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
