Jr. Merchandiser (Hard Goods)

Role Overview: As a Product Development Associate at our company, you will play a crucial role in working closely with both international and domestic clients as well as suppliers to develop new products that meet market trends and client requirements. Your responsibilities will include interpreting design ideas, managing development timelines, and overseeing the sample creation process. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to contribute to quality assurance, order management, costing and negotiation, market research, and reporting to ensure the success of our product offerings. Key Responsibilities: - Work closely with international and domestic clients and suppliers to develop new products aligned with market trends and client requirements - Interpret design ideas, create and maintain development timelines, and manage the sample creation process - Oversee the quality control process to ensure all goods meet required standards and specifications - Manage the complete order process, including creating purchase orders, coordinating with manufacturers, monitoring production schedules, and ensuring on-time delivery - Negotiate costings and terms with suppliers, analyze market trends, commodity costs, and currency fluctuations to secure the best prices - Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor products, and customer preferences - Prepare and present regular reports on product development status, order tracking, supplier performance, and market trends Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field - Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in hard goods, preferably buying agency About IERA LIVING: At Iera Living, we provide full-service solutions ranging from sourcing and product development to quality control and shipping.
