Jr. Executive - R&D (System Engineer)

**Job Description:** As an R&D Engineer at Valeo, you will play a crucial role in designing breakthrough solutions to reinvent mobility. Your responsibilities will include: - Performing activities in compliance with the Discipline Development Plan of your PG/PL. - Reviewing Internal requirements, Customer Requirements, and Specifications. - Ensuring robust design and validation in line with economical targets. - Supporting technical architecture and standards assignments. - Following Standardization rules. - Supporting design reviews, both internally and with suppliers. Your scope of work could encompass all or part of the design, integration, and validation of blocks/products. In addition, you will be expected to: - Support Discipline design simulations, coding, and validation. - Assist with Discipline design calculations, including worst-case/statistical scenarios and thermal studies. - Support Discipline tests. You will need to manage the following: - Reporting the progress of your tasks. - Escalating risks when necessary. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or related field. - Strong understanding of automotive engineering principles. - Proficiency in design simulations, coding, and validation. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work in a multicultural environment. - Commitment to following Design Rules and processes.
