Job Description

As a Utility Engineer in the pharmaceutical industry, your responsibilities will include preparing utility consumption charts, conducting capacity and cycle time analysis for various utilities such as factory Steam, chilled water, cooling water, compressed air, fuel, portable water, soft water, purified water, WFI, PS, etc. You will calculate utility consumption for pharmaceutical facilities and design utility pipe sizing, pump sizing, and utility equipment sizing. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing layout designs for user point locations and utility pipe routing, as well as generating bill of quantity calculations and general utility electrical load assessments. You will also be responsible for sending inquiries, obtaining offers for various designed components, preparing budgetary costing, and drafting technical specifications for utility and process equipment. Furthermore, you will need to verify bill of quantity documents from clients, create query lists based on the verification, and engage with vendors to discuss technical details and offers. To excel in this role, you are required to have a strong understanding of the Pharmaceutical Industry as it relates to Utility and Process, knowledge of pharmaceutical process flows, and proficiency in drafting P&ID for utility and process equipment.,
