Job Description - Junior Accounts Executive

Job Location- Kolkata(On site)

Immediate Joiner preferred.

Please note- Initial 6 months is contractual, post that the candidate will be become permanent basis his/her performance.

The Role

The role will take care of day to day accounting for all global entities of the company and

supports decision making and planning of the management for those entities. Candidate(s)

having experience only in CA firm will not be entertained. Candidates from any industry can

apply.

Key Responsibilities-

1.​The executive will be responsible for day to day accounting for all the global entities of

BuyerForesight in XERO accounting software.

2.​The normal duties will include posting of vendor bills, POs, reconciling bank accounts on a

daily/monthly basis.

3.​The executive will make sure that all revenue recognition related journal entries are

posted on a daily basis to reflect the completion of the events.

4.​Reporting of monthly P&L accounts and balance sheets on a monthly basis within the

agreed date and sharing with management.

5.​Doing a variance analysis of each account and explanation of the same.

6.​Handle GST filing for global entities of SG and BV on a quarterly basis and interface with

overseas consultants in this regard.

7.​Give a monthly cash flow forecast by entity for the next 2-3 months broken down into

weeks - on a regular basis

Skills & Competencies-

1.​Strong accounting skills - Knowledge of XERO is preferred. In case the candidate doesn't

have the exposure , He/ She will be given the required training. Basics of Accounting

knowledge is a must & is critical for the role and will be tested on both

2.​Good English Communication skills( Oral & Written ) is important to interface with

overseas stakeholders independently and on a regular basis

3.​Ability to complete work on his/her own without continuous follow-ups

4.A​bility to escalate matters with VP finance without waiting for them to go out of hand

Required Qualifications-

1.A​ny good B Com or M Com candidate with a good background of accounting

2.​Good spoken and written English speaking skills.

Preferred Qualification

1.​BCom/ MCom with at least 3-5 years of accounting experience from any industry. The

Candidate must have experience working for the corporate sector.

Job Types: Full-time, Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
