Jr. Accountant

As a Junior Accountant at our organization, you will be an integral part of our finance team, contributing to the accuracy of financial reporting and supporting the overall financial well-being of the company. This role is ideal for individuals eager to enhance their accounting skills and gain valuable experience in a collaborative work environment. Your responsibilities will include assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports to ensure compliance with accounting standards. You will oversee accounts receivable processes such as invoicing, collections, and cash application. Additionally, you will conduct financial analysis to aid in budgeting and forecasting efforts, as well as monitor liquidity and financial stability through cash flow analysis. Utilizing accounting software for data entry, report generation, and reconciliation tasks will be a key part of your daily activities. Collaboration with senior accountants on projects related to wills, trusts, and estate law may be required, and you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) regulations. To excel in this role, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred, along with familiarity with financial concepts and principles. Experience with accounting software and proficiency in Excel are advantageous. Knowledge of financial statement preparation, cash flow management, and accounts receivable processes is essential. While previous internship or work experience in an accounting role is beneficial, it is not mandatory.
