Jr Accountant / Sr Accountant

The Junior Accountant is responsible for handling day-to-day accounting tasks, including bookkeeping, invoice processing, and bank reconciliations. You will maintain financial records, general ledgers, and daily transactions. Additionally, you will prepare bank reconciliations and support tax filings, assist in audits, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. The Senior Accountant manages financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance while supervising junior accountants and ensuring accuracy in financial operations. You will oversee financial statements, budgeting, and cost control. Furthermore, you will manage tax filings (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and ensure regulatory compliance, conduct internal audits, financial forecasting, and cash flow management. You will also supervise junior accountants, provide guidance on financial procedures, and analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making. For the Junior Accountant position, a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required. On the other hand, for the Senior Accountant role, a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or CA/CPA qualification is preferred. The Junior Accountant should have 0-2 years of experience in accounting, while the Senior Accountant should have 5+ years of experience in financial management and reporting. Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally, SAP, QuickBooks, or ERP is essential for both positions. Strong knowledge of taxation, financial regulations, and compliance is required. Attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities are crucial. The ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks is also necessary.
