Joint PhD candidate

The role of Joint PhD candidate for the Research Project entitled "Deepfake Detection and Explanation for Social Media Video Content" at the TIET-UQ Centre of Excellence in Data Science and AI is a full-time on-site position located in Patiala. As a Joint PhD candidate, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth research, developing new algorithms, implementing deep learning models, analyzing data, and collaborating with the research team. Your tasks will also include preparing research publications, presenting findings at conferences, and contributing to the overall advancement of the project. To excel in this role, you should possess proficiency in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Neural Networks. Experience with Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch is essential. Strong skills in Data Analysis, Data Mining, and Data Visualization are required for this position. A background in Video Processing, Computer Vision, and Multimedia Forensics will be beneficial. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary to effectively communicate your research findings.
