1. Greeting and Seating Guests: Welcome customers warmly upon arrival. Escort guests to their tables and present menus. 2. Taking Orders: Take food and beverage orders from customers accurately and promptly. Suggest dishes based on customer preferences. Ensure all special dietary requirements and preferences are communicated to the kitchen. 3. Serving Food and Drinks: Serve food and beverages in a timely and professional manner. Ensure that food is served at the correct temperature and garnished properly. Refill water glasses and other drinks as needed. 4. Customer Assistance: Be attentive to customer needs and respond quickly to any requests. Address any customer concerns or complaints in a calm and professional manner. Ensure guests have a pleasant dining experience. 5. Clearing and Cleaning: Clear tables of dirty dishes, glasses, and utensils promptly. Clean and set tables for the next guests, ensuring that all items are spotless. Maintain cleanliness of the dining area and surrounding workstations. 6. Cash Handling and Billing: Prepare checks and handle cash or card payments efficiently and accurately. Ensure the correct amount is charged to each customer and provide change if required. 7. Collaboration with Kitchen and Staff: Work closely with the kitchen staff to ensure orders are correctly prepared and delivered. Communicate effectively with other waitstaff to ensure smooth service. Assist colleagues during peak times as needed. 8. Promoting Menu Items: Suggest daily specials, beverages, and desserts to customers. Upsell dishes and drinks to increase sales. 9. Maintaining Personal Hygiene and Uniform: Maintain a neat and clean appearance. Ensure uniform is clean, tidy, and presentable. 10. Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all food safety standards and procedures. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed in the restaurant. Report any safety hazards immediately.
