Job Title: Maintenance SupervisorDepartment: Operations / Engineering Location: [Restaurant / Cluster / Regional Office] Reports To: Area Maintenance Manager / Area Coach Job Summary:The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, upkeep, and safety of all equipment, utilities, and infrastructure across designated KFC restaurants. The role includes supervising preventive and corrective maintenance activities, coordinating with vendors, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and minimizing downtime to ensure business continuity. Key Responsibilities:Preventive & Corrective Maintenance: Execute and monitor preventive maintenance schedules for kitchen equipment, HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and restaurant infrastructure. Respond promptly to breakdowns and service requests from stores. Ensure minimal downtime and effective resolution of technical issues. Vendor Coordination: Manage and coordinate with third-party vendors for specialized repairs and AMC (Annual Maintenance Contracts). Monitor vendor service quality, adherence to timelines, and cost-effectiveness. Asset Management: Maintain records of all equipment and utilities at each restaurant. Monitor the health of key assets and plan for repairs/replacements. Track maintenance costs against allocated budgets. Compliance & Safety: Ensure all equipment and utilities comply with safety standards (fire, electrical, food safety). Ensure adherence to company and legal safety guidelines during maintenance work. Conduct regular safety audits at stores. Team Supervision: Supervise junior maintenance staff or technicians (if applicable). Train restaurant staff in basic troubleshooting and safe handling of equipment. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare daily/weekly maintenance reports. Maintain service logs, inspection records, AMC documents, and vendor invoices. Provide maintenance inputs for audits (internal/external). Key Skills Required:Technical knowledge of kitchen equipment (deep fryers, ovens, cold storage, etc.) Familiarity with electrical, HVAC, and plumbing systems. Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Vendor and time management. Good communication and documentation skills. Qualifications:ITI / Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in facility or maintenance management, preferably in QSR, hospitality, or retail. Additional Requirements:Willingness to travel across multiple restaurant locations. Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays if needed. Basic knowledge of safety protocols and compliance regulations.
