Adhere to hospital protocols for sterilization, PPE usage, and waste disposal. Implement infection control measures to prevent cross-contamination. 7. Patient and Family EducationProvide clear instructions about medication, treatment, and post-discharge care. Offer emotional support to patients during their recovery process. Guide families during discharge, explaining instructions, and prescriptions. 8. Documentation and ReportingMaintain accurate patient records including nursing notes, vitals, treatment plans, and care updates. Report any incidents, adverse reactions, or concerns to the nurse-in-charge or doctor. Ensure proper completion of discharge summaries, patient reports, and instructions.
