Budgeting and Forecasting Assist in preparing budgets and financial forecasts. Analyze budget variances and provide explanations or recommendations. 4. Tax Preparation and Compliance Calculate and file taxes (e.g., income tax, VAT, payroll tax). Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws. Liaise with tax authorities and auditors if needed. 5. Accounts Payable and Receivable Manage invoices and payments to vendors (payables). Track incoming payments and follow up on overdue accounts (receivables). 6. Payroll Management Process employee salaries, benefits, and deductions. Ensure payroll tax compliance and generate payslips. 7. Auditing and Internal Controls Conduct internal audits to check for errors, fraud, or inefficiencies.
