ob Title: BHMS Doctor – Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) Location: Latehar Job Summary The BHMS doctor will be responsible for providing primary healthcare services, preventive care, and health awareness in remote and underserved areas through the Mobile Medical Unit. The role involves conducting OPDs, diagnosing and treating patients, maintaining medical records, and supporting community health programs. Key Responsibilities Patient Care & Treatment Conduct daily OPDs at designated MMU locations. Diagnose and treat common illnesses and minor injuries. Provide homeopathy-based treatment and, where necessary, basic allopathic support as per protocol. Refer complicated cases to higher healthcare centers. Preventive & Community Health Conduct health education and awareness sessions in the community. Support immunization and disease prevention activities. Assist in public health campaigns and screenings. Operational Duties Maintain patient registers, prescriptions, and case sheets. Coordinate with MMU staff (nurses, pharmacists, drivers) for smooth operation. Ensure proper upkeep of medical equipment and medicines in the MMU. Qualifications & Requirements Education: BHMS (Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine & Surgery) from a recognized university. Registration: Valid registration with the State/Indian Council of Homeopathy. Experience: Minimum 1–2 years of clinical experience (preferably in community/outreach healthcare). Skills: Strong diagnostic and patient communication skills. Ability to work independently in rural/remote areas. Knowledge of public health principles and community engagement. Other Requirements: Willingness to travel and work in field conditions.
