Job Title: Rubber Liner Location: Kerur, Karnataka Experience Required: Minimum 1 Year Compensation: As Per Market Standards Work Type: Full-time, Shift-based Key Responsibilities Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to execute rubber lining tasks accurately. Prepare metallic surfaces through sandblasting, chemical cleaning, and adhesive application to ensure optimal bonding. Cut rubber sheets to size, lay them accurately, and use bonding techniques to secure them in place. Utilize hand tools such as rollers, knives, brushes, and presses to ensure even application and seamless finishes. Conduct inspection and quality assurance checks on finished linings to ensure durability and compliance with company standards. Perform maintenance and repair on existing linings by assessing wear and damage and executing corrective procedures. Record all work performed, materials used, and observations made during the lining process. Follow industry-standard safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Coordinate with other team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met efficiently. Required Skills & Qualifications Minimum one year of experience in rubber lining or similar industrial roles. Familiarity with various types of rubber, adhesives, and surface preparation methods. Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle precision tools. Strong understanding of safety procedures and quality control practices. Physical stamina to work in confined and elevated environments for extended periods. Willingness to work in rotating shifts as required.
