Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to execute rubber lining tasks accurately.
• Prepare metallic surfaces through sandblasting, chemical cleaning, and adhesive application to ensure optimal bonding.
• Cut rubber sheets to size, lay them accurately, and use bonding techniques to secure them in place.
• Utilize hand tools such as rollers, knives, brushes, and presses to ensure even application and seamless finishes.
• Conduct inspection and quality assurance checks on finished linings to ensure durability and compliance with company standards.
• Perform maintenance and repair on existing linings by assessing wear and damage and executing corrective procedures.
• Record all work performed, materials used, and observations made during the lining process.
• Follow industry-standard safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
• Coordinate with other team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met efficiently.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience in rubber lining or similar industrial roles.
• Familiarity with various types of rubber, adhesives, and surface preparation methods.
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to handle precision tools.
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and quality control practices.
• Physical stamina to work in confined and elevated environments for extended periods.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts as required.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work both independently and as part of a team.
