Role Overview A beauty therapist is a professionally trained individual who specializes in beauty services for both face and body. A beauty therapist performs various duties such as providing skincare services, apply makeup, removal of unwanted hair, and manicure and pedicure services by maintaining health, safety and hygiene at workplace. The person needs to be knowledgeable on various beauty and make-up products, and a range of beauty services. Key Reponsibility Areas: 1. Client Consultation and Assessment Conduct thorough consultations to understand client needs, skin types, and treatment expectations. Recommend appropriate treatments and products based on individual assessments. 2. Service Delivery Perform beauty treatments such as facials, waxing, massages, manicures, pedicures, and other skincare services. Ensure treatments are carried out professionally and hygienically, following health and safety guidelines. 3. Customer Satisfaction and Retention Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction. Encourage repeat business by building strong client relationships and maintaining client records. Handle complaints or concerns promptly and professionally. 4. Product Knowledge and Retail Sales Stay informed about new beauty products and techniques. Equipment and Facility Maintenance Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon/spa and treatment areas. Ensure all equipment is sterilized and in proper working condition.
