Quality Test Engineer – Job Criteria Hindustan Amusement Machines Job Purpose To ensure all amusement rides are manufactured, assembled, and tested according to safety, durability, and design specifications, and comply with national and international standards (BIS/ASTM/EN). This role is responsible for checking structural integrity, painting & FRP quality, safety systems, and ride performance before dispatch. Key Responsibilities Inspect raw materials, fabricated parts, FRP components, and mechanical/electrical assemblies. Conduct in-process and final quality checks as per approved checklists. Perform load, vibration, noise, endurance, and safety system testing. Measure paint thickness, FRP quality, and alignment tolerances. Document test results, prepare QC reports, and tag approved items. Coordinate with the design, engineering, and safety teams for continuous improvement. Ensure compliance of components with internal standards and applicable safety codes. Maintain calibration and quality testing tools and equipment. Technical Skills Required Ability to read technical drawings and mechanical diagrams. Proficiency with measuring tools (vernier caliper, micrometer, DFT meter, vibration meter). Knowledge of welding quality inspection and NDT methods. Experience with FRP and mechanical safety system checks. Understanding of electrical and mechanical failures in inspection. Familiarity with BIS, ASTM, and EN ride safety standards. Experience Minimum 2 years in quality control/testing in mechanical or amusement ride manufacturing. Hands-on experience in ride testing or rotating equipment QC preferred. Soft Skills Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills. Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis abilities. Ability to work independently and under pressure.

Ensures proper installation and testing before ride commissioning. Key Responsibilities Assemble mechanical components as per technical drawings and SOPs. Fit and align shafts, gears, sprockets, and bearing housings. Install and test mechanical drive systems, motors, and pulleys. Assist in welding, fabrication, and part modifications if required. Perform routine inspections for alignment, torqueing, and sealing. Collaborate with electrical and paint departments for final assembly. Support in pre-dispatch testing and ride trials at factory or site. Educational Qualifications Minimum 12th pass with ITI certificate (Fitter/Mechanical Trade). Additional technical diploma preferred. Skills Required Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings. Use of basic hand tools: spanners, torque wrench, drills, grinders. Fitting of motors, gearboxes, chains, belts, and couplings. Understanding of tolerances and assembly sequences. Basic knowledge of safety during mechanical assembly. Tools & Equipment Familiarity Torque wrench, spanner sets, bearing pullers, alignment gauges. Basic fabrication tools: angle grinder, drilling machine. Hydraulic jack, chain block, and hoisting equipment. Measurement tools: tape, scale, vernier caliper. Soft Skills & Traits Hardworking and physically fit. Team player and ability to follow supervisor instructions. Safety-conscious and attention to detail. Ability to work in factory and project site conditions

Job Summary We are seeking reliable and skilled Factory Workers to support the manufacturing, assembly, and finishing of amusement park rides. The role involves working with hand tools, operating machinery, following technical instructions, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards during the production process. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain machines used in fabrication, welding, cutting, grinding, or painting of ride components. Assist in the assembly of mechanical, structural, or electrical parts based on design drawings and supervisor instructions. Handle and transport raw materials, semi-finished parts, and final components within the factory premises. Conduct visual and manual checks to identify defects or deviations from standards. Follow safety protocols and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and tools. Cooperate with QA/QC teams to ensure product compliance with specifications and tolerances. Report equipment malfunctions or production delays to supervisors promptly. Perform basic material handling, packaging, and loading of finished goods for dispatch. Required Skills & Qualifications 10+2 pass / ITI certification preferred. Previous experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment is an advantage. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic machinery. Ability to read and follow basic instructions, diagrams, or technical drawings. Physically fit to lift, move, and stand for long periods. Attention to detail and commitment to quality. Willingness to work in shifts or overtime as required. Desirable (Optional) Qualifications Experience in heavy engineering, steel fabrication, or amusement ride assembly. Basic understanding of welding, painting, or mechanical systems. Forklift or crane operating license (if relevant).
