Role & responsibilities Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Design Engineer with experience in the switchgear industry and hands-on proficiency in Creo software. The ideal candidate should possess strong design capabilities, relevant industry exposure, and good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and clients. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop switchgear components and assemblies using Creo (3D CAD software) • Collaborate with the product development, testing, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and functionality • Prepare detailed drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation • Ensure designs comply with relevant standards and customer specifications • Participate in design reviews and implement feedback • Support prototype development and testing • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for component design alignment • Contribute to continuous improvement in product design and development processes Requirements: • Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering • 3 to 6 years of design engineering experience in the switchgear industry • Proficiency in Creo (3D modeling, assemblies, and drawings) • Good understanding of electrical systems and switchgear components • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Problem-solving attitude and attention to detail
