Job Title: German Tax Specialist (German speaking)

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and review individual German tax returns (restricted and unrestricted).
Ensure compliance with German tax regulations and filing deadlines.
Analyze client data to calculate tax liabilities accurately.
Collaborate with German counterparts to resolve client-specific tax issues.
Translate and explain complex tax matters to internal teams and clients.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of German tax laws and updates.
Participate in internal training programs on topics such as rental income, capital income, employment income, and WA-EST.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in German tax return preparation and review.
Strong understanding of German tax laws and forms.
Excellent German language proficiency (speaking) is mandatory.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple client portfolios and meet deadlines.
Experience working with international teams is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with DATEV, DSuite, Web DSuite (preferred, not mandatory).
Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
