Job Opportunity: Manager – Paint Shop (Liquid Coating)
Industry: Heavy Fabrication / Manufacturing
Location: Chandigarh
Qualification: B.Tech / Diploma in Chemical Engineering (Must)
Experience: Relevant experience in Paint Shop (Liquid Coating)
Salary: ₹50,000 – ₹65,000 per month
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule shop activities to ensure on-time delivery of finished products.
Train and supervise paint shop personnel.
Manage storage and procurement of paint and supporting materials.
Conduct product inspection, troubleshooting, and evaluation.
Ensure regular equipment and shop maintenance.
Monitor and control hazardous waste as per standards.
Conduct employee evaluation and performance assessment.
Ensure PDI clearance as per dispatch plan.
Maintain daily paint reports for all painted components.
Ensure paint application as per defined process and specifications.
Manage material loading/unloading as per requirements.
Maintain paint booth cleanliness and ensure 5S implementation on the shop floor.
Enforce safety standards and practices on the shop floor.
