Job Title :Anaplan Business Analyst

Required Experience :10+ years

Location : Hyderabad.

JD summary:

We are seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Business Analyst with experience in Anaplan implementation and support to join our manufacturing IT team. This role will focus on driving planning and performance management initiatives across operations, supply chain, finance, and sales functions through the Anaplan platform. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, model processes, and deliver scalable Anaplan solutions aligned with strategic goals. The candidate must be willing to work on site 4 days a week in Hyderabad, during US EST time zone.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Requirements & Analysis

Partner with business stakeholders (Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Sales, etc.) to gather and analyze business requirements for planning, forecasting, budgeting, and operational models.

Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements and process flows.

Conduct gap analysis between current capabilities and future-state solutions.

Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and reporting requirements.

Anaplan Modeling & Support

Collaborate with Anaplan model builders and solution architects to design models that meet business goals.

Support user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation, and model enhancements.

Act as a liaison between business and Anaplan model builders to ensure models meet user expectations and performance standards.

Assist in maintaining existing Anaplan models and support ongoing enhancements and issue resolution.

Stakeholder Communication & Documentation

Facilitate workshops, meetings, and demos with business users to gather feedback and align on requirements.

Create comprehensive documentation including business requirement documents (BRDs), use cases, test scripts, and training materials.

Support change management, end-user training, and onboarding related to Anaplan usage.

Manufacturing Domain Focus

Understand manufacturing processes such as demand planning, capacity planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and S&OP.

Contribute to the improvement of planning accuracy, cycle time reduction, and supply chain visibility using Anaplan solutions.

Help align planning processes with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and downstream systems.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, or a related field.

4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in Anaplan projects (implementation or support).

Strong understanding of Anaplan architecture, use cases, and model design principles.

Solid knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain planning processes.

Experience gathering and writing clear, actionable requirements and user stories.

Ability to analyze complex data sets and processes, and translate them into Anaplan models.

Proficient in creating functional specs, process documentation, and test scenarios.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across business and technical teams.

Comfortable working in an agile or hybrid delivery environment.

Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to addressing challenges.

Cultural Awareness: Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and highly dynamic environment and manage teams across different time zones. Must be multi-tasker and able to prioritize and deliver assignments with the highest quality under pressure with short deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

Anaplan Level 1 and Level 2 Model Builder certification (nice to have).

Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics.

Exposure to reporting/BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data integrations.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum frameworks and tools like Jira or Azure DevOps.
