Job Summary

This role mainly focuses on keeping the inventory process tight and running without surprises. You ll be tracking stock movement closely, keeping an eye on items nearing expiry, and making sure the software systems show the correct picture at all times. The idea is to maintain a balanced inventory neither too much nor too little while also improving overall cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Keep a daily check on short-dated and expired medicines or supplies, and update the team so action can be taken quickly.


• Review and adjust reorder points and quantities to prevent both overstocking and stockouts.


• Carry out monthly physical stock counts and reconcile them with system data.


• Identify non-moving items (older than 6 months) and suggest clearance, return, or donation plans.


• Ensure the pharmacy software (POS, ERP) runs smoothly and reflects real-time stock updates.


• Look for cost-saving opportunities across inventory operations without affecting availability.

Requirements

• Prior experience in inventory management, preferably within healthcare or pharmacy setups.


• Comfortable working with POS/ERP systems and basic Excel.


• Strong attention to detail and a practical approach to solving day-to-day issues.


• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and work in a fast-paced environment.
