As a JIRA Architect at our Hyderabad office, you will play a crucial role in managing and implementing JIRA products across the organization. With your extensive experience in this field, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining automation workflows, creating plugins, building dashboards, and ensuring seamless integration of Atlassian tools within the organization. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automation workflows in Atlassian JIRA, creating and managing plugins to extend JIRA capabilities, and building dashboards for JIRA. You will also be involved in connecting add-ons, configuring custom fields, creating custom preset filters, testing outcomes, and identifying defects. Additionally, you will oversee maintenance, administration, upgrades, and enhancements to JIRA, Confluence, HipChat, and integrations with other tools. To excel in this role, you must have at least 12 years of experience as a JIRA Developer and possess expertise in JIRA Software, JIRA Service Management, and JIRA Product Discovery. Your technical proficiency should extend to developing and maintaining JIRA automation workflows, plugins, and dashboards, as well as integrating JIRA with other enterprise tools like ServiceNow. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential as you will coordinate with large teams, document standards and procedures, and manage project documentation throughout the project cycle. In addition to your technical skills, leadership experience, Atlassian Certification, familiarity with Agile and DevSecOps practices, exposure to enterprise architecture processes, and knowledge of analytical tools like Atlassian Analytics are desirable for this role. Daily prioritization and assignment of defects during the feature development phase or maturation phase of the program Together with the Delivery QA lead, responsible for establishing the appropriate workflow in JIRA for defect management. This should align wherever possible to the standard program approach and exceptions only introduced for critical customer requirements Remove blockers wherever possible to ensure continuous working of defects and escalate to Solutions Manager when blocker cannot be removed by the Error Manager Create and support JIRA dashboards on defect work that provide input to the program health QA dashboard Raise the alarm when defect metrics are not being met or bottlenecks in the process exist Responsible for RCA when program targets on defects are not being met Responsible for escalating performance issues when KPI goals are not being met Work with Delivery QA Lead and counterparts on other programs to implement process improvements for defect work Manage backlog of defects for the maturation teams (delivery only) when in this phase of the program (Open Question for Standard Product and for defects during feature work?) Role Summary This position is ideal for a Senior Scrum Master to join the Mobile Application Development teams at Align Technology. The individual will drive key projects to delivery while supporting Agile processes for mobile applications. This hybrid role includes responsibilities as a Scrum Master and Business Analyst , providing critical insights, facilitating process improvements, and influencing team culture and delivery outcomes. This role is vital in shaping Align's digital platform goals and delivering key features for mobile applications. Role Expectations In this role, you will: Facilitate the Scrum process across teams involved in complex projects, platform transformations, or maintenance work. Guide teams and the organization in adopting Agile/Scrum practices, with a focus on team readiness, prioritization, and Sprint commitments. Use empirical data to assess Scrum maturity, optimize team velocity, and identify areas of improvement to enhance team performance. Partner with Product Owners to ensure continuous refinement and prioritization of the backlog, potentially spanning multiple projects. Own and facilitate Scrum ceremonies (e.g., Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives). Collaborate with Product Owners, Program or Project Managers to communicate team deliverables and escalate risks or blockers. Perform business requirements analysis and develop user stories to support the Agile development process. Create and manage development and sustainment tasks using JIRA , including ticket creation and backlog grooming. Provide customer and end-user support as needed. Apply business process reviews to coordinate activities across functional business units. What We're Looking For Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: 8+ years in a Scrum Master or PMO role, ideally in mobile application or digital product development environments. Skills & Tools: Proficient in JIRA , JQL , JIRA Dashboards , and other Agile collaboration tools. Strong experience in Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks. Ability to perform detailed requirements analysis and translate them into actionable user stories. Experience supporting Agile team delivery and optimizing processes for velocity and effectiveness. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Confident in delivering presentations and facilitating cross-functional discussions. Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders.
